Goddess coloring book kickstarter.
This is a kickstarter created by wormwoodqueen, consider reblogging or donating to help her out!
ABOUT THIS PROJECTThe Goddess Coloring book is phase 1 of my Surcadian Oracle Project. The book features the 26 goddess which will later be found in my Surcadian Oracle Deck. I’m excited to be working with another artist in my family Talzhemir, who will be taking my concept drawings and inking them.
The Goddess has played a big part in my life. For years I have been wanting to help bring her back out into the world in a relevant way. I feel that She is needed now more than ever and it’s time this project idea becomes a reality.
The Goddesses in the Coloring Book will ultimately be made into paintings, that’s the second phase of my project. From there I will create the oracle deck and an entire divination system.
As I have been studying Her, working with Her and drawing Her, I realize she has a life of her own. And Her stories are our stories. I am in need of some feedback. I want to hear how She plays a part in your life, I want to see what you do with the pages of the coloring book. How do you see Her? Who is she to You? All of these things are important to me in the creation of the paintings and in the divination system. She is bigger than me. I don’t feel that I could possibly paint her before I have a better understanding of how she is seen and felt through others not just myself.
All of these Goddess are depicted as real women, all different types, shapes, ages, cultures, colors…in hopes of making them relatable to us mere mortals.
I want others to have fun and connect to Her in their own way. Color, paint, embellish, be creative! The funds raised from this Kickstarter will go to my supplies to begin my second phase and the 26 large scale paintings…My 13 Moon Challenge!
From there, I will create the deck…and who knows what else?Concept drawings include
The void
Isis
Kuan Yin
I make an Absinthe tea, which contains wormwood (Artemisia absinthium) and I love to create with herbs. And no, I don’t use Peepspayer. ( :
